Believe In Yourself

As I look at all the people that I revere, they all has one thing in common.  They believe in what they are doing so much, that they are doing it whether someone is looking or not.  What I have come to realize is the more you do something you like, the better you become at it.  And then one day when you least expect it others will see that unique gift that you bring to the game.

So I must take my own advice and stay the course and do that which makes me happy.  Because when your happy things happen.  You radiate and emit joy.  Your path is clear.  Sometimes it will be scary, but you have to follow your heart and as Joyce Meyers says, "do it afraid" if you have to.  Just know that if you believe and have faith,  know that the Almighty God will be right there with you come rain, shine, sleet or snow.

So in these economic times of change, you change and do what you have always wanted to do, take one day at a time, and one step at a time.  Do not try to figure it all out, you wont have those answers until that task is complete.  Have faith and really believe, go to a quiet place and see yourself doing what you want to do.

Release all the thoughts that don't align with your goal, and keep doing it until it catches and it will catch.  Roll right on through remember the Isralites, they had what they needed for each day.  God will do the same for you.  Peace

Vegetable Chicken Stew - Yum Yum

Yesterday while at the store I decided to make some vegetable chicken stew to help give my intestines a good cleaning. So I do this first by tracking a 24-hour period. How much fluids I am currently getting in? Then, more than likely I find I was not getting in enough clear fluids in that day. From there I increase my intake, taking into account any medical limitations.
I eliminate nearly all meats except some shredded chicken breast or some fish, no red meat. It takes red meat 72 hours to digest in your system. So if you are eating it back to back for 3 days it would take your body nearly 9 days to digest completely. Now there maybe some overlapping, so maybe the days wont be quite nine, but on the overlap days you have your body doing twice the work to digest all that red meat. Not good. Ding.
So here is the ingredients, notice I did not say recipe. The reason why is to make it to your own taste. Experiment in a little pot first or just go for a large amount. If it is good you will have it for several days. If bad you can further experiment with the ingredients so you will know what to do next time. Here we go.

Tall nine inch cooking pot. Place all your cut up vegetable in a bowl until ready to put in, and I will let you know when. Here is what you will need: at least six fresh carrots, four leeks, two yellow onions, four to six legs I guess from the celery stalk, 3 chicken breast with or without skin, 4-5 boxes Mrs. Grass with golden ball, 1 bag no yolk shredded noodles, Turmeric seasoning, and Smart Balance with Ertra Virgin Olive Oil.

• First add 16-20 cups of water into pot, turn eye on high.
• Four boxes Mrs. Grass, only use golden  ball & seasoning.
• Clean chicken breasts, place into boiling h20 & seasoning.
• Scrap and clean carrots, cut into bit sizes
• Cut off bottom of leeks and the dark green.  Rinse in h20.

• Wash & clean celery, cut into bit size.
• Chop up both yellow onions.

Once chicken has cooked & cooled in about 2 hours, remove chicken from pot, shred chicken breast, place back into broth along with vegetable and cook for about 30 minutes. First let it boil three or four minutes, then turn down to medium for the remainder, then turn off.
The stew will now simmer and take on more flavor and the nine inch broiler will keep it hot for several hours while cooling down.

For some finishing touches add some little Cheeze it’s or fishes along with cut up fresh scallions and sprinkle over top.

Choosing The Right Gym

I have belonged to a lot of gyms: Power House, Bally's Anytime Fitness, Fitness 19 and Lifetime Fitness.  So as you can see I dont have a problem with spending money on gyms's checking them out, seeing what machines I like, the setup of the gym, the eminities that they offer, price, location, members, and how clean is the gym.

It was not until I joined the latest gym did I recognize how valuable having a gym that fits your needs.  Let me explain.  There was a gym on the eastside near 8 Mile and Van Dyke.  It was called Bally's and it was a brand new gym.  I can still smell the scent of it.  So the other day I signed up at Fitness 19, brand new gym, with that same smell.  And what I like about this gym is, both gyms' treadmills face the street level.  I never knew how effective that was for me, watching real time activites that were going on right at that moment.  For me that is a great source of power.  I get to listen to my favorite tunes, exercise on the treadmil, either walking, skipping, jogging or running, along with visually keeping track of the activites going on outside.  Now to me that is exercising.

So I say all that to say, not until I joined this gym where the treadmills face the street, have I enjoyed walking on the treadmil as much.  As I look back, there is another gym that faces the public it is at Fairlane Mall for those of you here in Michigan.  If not, find a gym in your area, where cardio machines face the public.  If you like attention, this is a great place for you to get energy and a great workout.  Till next time.
