Day 6 Rest

Today was a simple day.  It consisted of my normal work schedule.  On the fitness side it was a day of simple rest.  No real exercise.  With the weather changing here in Michigan it is like hibernation time.  So I have noticed every fall/winter and spring/summer I have about three days of sleep.  Now I don't mean I sleep for three continous days but a large part of my day is dedicated to sleep.  I never know exactly what day it falls on only that twice a year like clockwork I have to sleep longer than normal to adjust to the new season.  Has anyone else experienced the hibernation sleep?  So I suspect Thursday and Friday I might still be in sleepy mode.  So it might not be any real activity on the journey to fitness schedule.  But I will keep you posted.

Now even though it is hibernation time does not mean that I do not eat, not.  That would be crazy.  Cause I truly love to eat healthy crap that will make me stronger, healthier, faster and you know it is all about being in peak optimum condition.  So foods that add to this goal are always on the menu.  So here we go with today's menu.  You know Fiber One, coconut milk, 1/3 cup walnuts, banana, peanut butter and crackers, chicken noodle soup with the chicken I baked on was it Sunday or Monday, I forget but one of those days.

Cooking a bunch of chicken breast in advance comes in handy throughout your week.  That way you already have your protein cooked now you can just add it to a salad, in a soup, make a sandwich, eat it with some veggies and call it a night.  Oh yeah and I got in my water and water.  Water is good for your body, tissue, cells, the whole make up.  So drink up to your body. 

Got in my 4oz of MonaVie, and even sold a case of it today along with the MonaVie EMV the energy drink.  I guess the taste of the Acai Berry is quite popular.  So what can I say.
