Grinding Nuts with NutriBullet

This morning I decided to try my NutriBullet  to grind up my flaxseeds. Flaxseeds are a good source for Omega 3 essential fatty acids, which help to lower the bad cholesterol and raise the good cholesterol.  The one thing about flaxseeds are they are so tiny that if you try to eat them with your teeth they can easily fit into the cusp of your teeth and not allow you to get the nutrients out of the seed.  For this reason you want to grind them up.

So this morning I got a cup of seeds and used the milling blade provided by my NutriBullet.  I am amazed at how well the milling blade ground up my flaxseeds.  I then added two scoop of flaxseeds to my oatmeal.

Just so you know flaxseeds have a mild nutty taste so they go good with just about anything you put them in especially breads, oatmeal, ice cream, chilli's just about anything.

You can purchase flaxseeds for any health food stores and a lot of the big box stores like Meijer's, Kroger, and Walmart also carry flaxseeds. The brand of flaxseeds that I use is Bob's Red Mill.  There are many brands out there and the great thing about flaxseeds is it is 100% whole grain and it provides fiber, lignans and omega-3 essential fatty acids. Eat to your health.

My 1st NutriBlast Creation

Today I got creative and made up my own NutriBlast.  I added one large carrot, one large Gala apple, 2 cups of Dole pineapple with a dash of cinnamon and some cubes of ice.  It was delightfully delicious.  The funny part was I made enough for my husband and son.  They at first were reluctant to try my NutriBlast creation.  My son immediately said he was full and my husband stood by the kitchen door saying he was not going to be the first giney pig to try it.  So I decided to just pour enough into a 1/2 cup measuring cup.  They both were pleasantly surprised and both of them asked for seconds.

So any time you can provide something as good as a NutriBlast to your family for their health.  That is a good thing.  We had broccoli at dinner and my son was so impressed with the NutriBlast I created he suggested next time add the broccoli to it.  I said yeah, that sounds good.  So next time I will add another veggie to the NutriBlast.

This is what I call a win win.  The NutriBullet takes hard to eat veggies and fruits and breaks it down, leaving the nutrients for our bodies to absorb.  I think this is a keeper.  And it feels good to know that I am adding good fuel to my body.  Foods that the maker intended for us to eat when he dropped Adam and Eve off in The Garden of Eden.

Center for Disease Control recommends we get in eight to nine fruits and vegetables a day.  This is great way to get started.

NutriBullet

Today I got my NutriBullet and I love it.  Let me repeat LOVE IT. in capital letters   I got a beautiful 207 page NutriBullet Natural Healing Foods book with my NutriBullet.  It has got great information on my circulatory, immune, digestive, nervous, endocrine, skeletal, muscular systems.  Choke full of colorful pictures of the body, fruit and simple easy to follow recipes to Blast your health into good optimal condition.

I ran out to the grocery store and stocked my kitchen with produce instead of processed foods and meats.  It felt refreshing to purchase health foods verses cookies, chips, processed meats, foods that I would say are killing our bodies.

This was the first time I bought Swiss Chard and an Avocado There are tones of Blast to mix, Omega Mix, Purple Heart, C-Side, Popeye and Olive Oyl, just to name a few.  They have complete sections on Anti-Inflammatory Blasts, Cancer Fighting Blast, Heartburn Healer Blasts and many more.

All the Blast recipes are nutritious and good for you.  The first thing that I blended was garlic cloves and fresh tomatoes for my Veggie Chili. This is the first time I made soup without adding some prepackaged salt mixture that was 800 or 900 hundred milligrams per serving.  That was refreshing to make chili with no meat and it taste delicious.  I would highly recommend ordering your NutriBullet today.

I will be writing more on my NutriBullet it is a real Blast.  Until next time:

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile Dysfunction occurs most often as men get older, but it is not inevitable.  According to WebMD "A diet that is bad for a man's heart is also not good for his ability to have erections."

So eating a healthy diet can help alleviate potential problems in the bedroom.  The Center for Disease Controls recommends eating 8 to 10 fruits and vegetables each day.  There are several benefits to the body eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.  It helps to prevent or improve:
  • Heart Disease
  • Stroke
  • Lower Blood Pressure
  • Increase Intestinal Health
  • Lowering Bad Cholesterol
  • Losing Fat
  • Building Lean Muscle
Erectile Dysfunction comes from a lack a blood supply to the penis simply put.  The best ways to to ensure proper blood flow to all organs in your body including the penis is to eat a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetable along with healthy lean protein.  Adding to your diet a daily regimen of physical fitness will have you back in the swing of things sooner than you think.

Eating healthy and exercising daily is a prescription for good health.
If you noticed your currently not getting in fruits and vegetables start by adding one fruit and vegetable to each meal.  Replace some of those simple carbohydrates with a serving of vegetables for starters and between meals eat that apple a day.

Also eating better and exercising daily can help to relieve anxiety, depression, stress, anger, gaining weight which can all lead to Erectile Dysfunction.

Detox Your Body

Everyday our bodies are introduced to preservatives that we eat, pesticides and herbicides, daily prescriptions, radiation exposure from CT Scans & PET Scans, carcinogens from smoking not to m mention the host of pollutants we breath in everyday just because of where we live or work.

For these reasons alone it is recommended you add broccoli to your weekly regimen of fruits and vegetables.  According to www.whfoods.com broccoli has had over 300 research studies done over the last several years.

What the studies have revealed is broccoli has a strong impact on our detox system.  Broccoli has a unique combination of three phyto-nutrients that are not found together in any other vegetable that supports all three stages of detoxification: which are activation, neutralization and elimination.

Adding broccoli to your weekly eating regimen will help your body to do regular detox.  Being able to detox your body is crucial to a healthy lifestyle and body.  Without detoxification our bodies become hosts for sickness which is usually accompanied by multiple prescription drugs which have their own set of side effects.

Adding a cup of stemmed broccoli three times a week will be beneficial to your overall health.

As always check with your Doctor before starting any new health regimen.
