O'k so I am ready to start my Atkins Programs. I have read my information and the next two weeks will be my Inductions period. During this period I can lose up to 15 pounds. It can vary from person to person. So I will be reporting on my results.
I have my jounal, mapped out the foods that I choose to eat, there are many options.
- Salmon, Chicken, Beef, Eggs and maybe if I find the right bacon I might get in a slice or two here and there:)
- Cheddar Cheese, Mozzarela, Parmesan and maybe Swiss.
- Bok Choy, Celery, Cucumber, Mushrooms, Parsley, Poppers, & Romaine Lettuce.
- Atkins Shakes and snack bars.
Now I could eat a lot of other foods, but those are the ones that I choose during my two week INduction period. This period is design to reduce the bad empty carbs out of your diet so you body will stop being a fat storing machine and jump start to a fat burning machine. Some of the expectations according to Atkins are:
- Weight Loss
- Reduced Bloating
- Flatter Tummy
- Fat Loss, Muscle Retention
- Satiety & appetite Reduction
- Reduce sugar cravings, not to mention increased energy.
So I will post my starting weight tomorrow along with what I will be eating.
